Working with children has always been at the heart of my professional path. With a foundation in school counseling and years of experience helping kids navigate their emotional world, I offer therapy services tailored to the unique needs of children ages 7 and up. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, big emotions, challenging behavior, or changes in their environment, I create a space where they can feel safe, seen, and supported.
A Flexible Approach to Child Therapy
Children express themselves in ways that often go beyond words, which is why I use a flexible blend of play therapy, art-based interventions, and developmentally appropriate CBT techniques. These tools not only help children explore their inner experiences, but also build skills they can carry into everyday life.
- Play therapy allows children to process their emotions naturally through the language of play—offering a familiar, engaging way to work through stress and worries.
- Art activities are often integrated into sessions to give children an outlet for expressing feelings that may be difficult to articulate verbally.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used in a child-friendly format to help kids understand the link between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, and to learn healthier patterns of thinking and behaving.
Most importantly, I take the time to help each child feel comfortable and at ease in my office. I focus on building genuine trust, so they know this is a space where they are respected and their voice matters.

- When appropriate, I coordinate with teachers, school counselors, and support staff to help reinforce emotional skills in the classroom and beyond.
- I’m also happy to connect with pediatricians or outside providers to ensure we’re all working together with your child’s best interests at heart.
